Going Golfing
On The Way
Today the teachers were asked if they would like to go to Tangshan Golf Course to play some golf. I was the only teacher that went and I had a great time there. At 9:15 some of the TA’s were waiting at the bus stop, I called Linda and found out which bus stop they were waiting at so I had to run to the bus stop to catch number 13 bus. The bus got us to our stop 45 minutes after I got to the bus stop.
Driving Range
After arriving at the golf club we went to the driving rage to hit some golf balls. It was a long time since I have swang a golf club, so I was a little rusty at it. After a few boxes of balls I was back to hitting the 100 – 150 mark with a 7 iron, with very bad accuracy. I have some photos of us in action, so here they are.

Golf Course Tour
After half an hour of hitting balls at the driving range, the loaded us into a golf cart and took us on a little tour of the Tangshan Nanhu International Golf Club. It was a very nice lush green golf course. I was very impressed that there could be somewhere so beautiful in Tangshan.
After travelling around the golf course for about 30 mins we took a group photo then walked back to the bus stop. We caught a bus back but being at lunchtime and everyone wanting to get home we sat at this one traffic intersection for 15 mins, because everyone was just worrying about themselves and trying to push through the congestion.
Overall it was a great day out with some of the TA’s of the school. I had so much fun.
