The Time Has Come to Leave Tangshan
As some of you know at the moment I’m currently studying at Hebei Polytechnic University (Hebei Li Gong Da Xue). I’m also undertaking a Degree from Griffith University Australia online. As well as working full time it is starting to get a little to much for me to handle. This means that I need to drop one of the things I’m currently doing. I have chosen to drop the Local University studies. This means that nothing is holding me to Tangshan. With this comes the opportunity to travel and see more of the wonderful world I call China.
My last day of teaching for Tangshan EF will be on the 27th of June 2010. I have planned to call parent meetings for all my classes the week before on the 19th and 20th of June to let my parents know that I’m leaving. Some of these students I have taught for nearly 21 months and most I have taught for at least 12 months. I feel that I have made some very strong bonds with my students and other students of EF Tangshan. I will miss teaching them. I plan to have photos taken with all my students which I will post here.
I have decided to head to a city called Jiaojiang, Taizhou in Zhejiang province (See Map) where I will work for Taizhou EF. About 4 weeks ago I handed in my notice to the school and started discussing with the CM of Taizhou EF, soon after I accepted the position of Foreign Teacher in Taizhou EF. Yesterday I received 3 emails all with different apartments in them for me to choose. I have chosen a nice brand new 2 bedroom apartment of about 87sqm and about 2km from work. Which is good, as I can still get my daily exercise in walking home after work. Here are the pictures I received of the apartment. I have been told it will be furnished by the time I get there.
As details come to hand you will find them here.

I will definitely be back in
I will definitely be back in Tangshan one day, but I don't know when. When I do come back this way I'll make it a point to drop in and say hello.
Thanks for your wishes, they are much appreciated.
